Antique Finished furniture is stained, lacquered, waxed and polished with the exception of the plate racks and clothes airer. Some kitchen table tops are also left natural to give the appearance of the Victorian scrubbed-top look, this is indicated by the letters ST on the order / price sheet.

The Natural Finish furniture is completely untreated so can be stained or painted to your own requirements.

Drawers are fully functional and fitted with wooden knobs. Doors are fitted with small brass hinges and have a brass latch system operated by turning the knob. Products with mirrors are of fine gauge glass.

All items are signed by Jane Newman.

New pieces are added to the listing periodically while some may be deleted or have design changes. Space in your house or room setting is of paramount importance when choosing furniture. For this reason approximate dimensions are indicated for each item. (See Kitchens and Bedrooms)
